Interior Faux Finishes:
If you want to add a splash of color, maybe add a feeling of elegance, or create a vision of texture and depth, then Faux Finishing may be your solution.
Faux Finishes can provide a sense of elegance, personality, and warmth to your home that goes above and beyond a change in color.
Faux Finishing is a painting technique that creates an illusion of texture. By using simple tools like sponges and rags, we can transform your home into a modern masterpiece.
Faux Finishing can be applied to surfaces such as drywall, plaster, or wood and it requires no more preparation than any other new paint project, just a clean, primed surface ready for finishing.
Color Washing:
A very popular technique that uses different color palettes to liven the appearance of your walls and ceilings
Fresco:
A marble type appearance that transforms your home into a work of art.
Parchment Glaze:
Parchment Glaze is a variation of the rag roll technique that produces an appearance similar to old parchment
Rag Roll Finish:
Rag–rolling applies a similar technique to that of sponge finishing, but rather than using sponges, rags are used instead.
Sponge Like Finish:
The most common type of faux finish is created with natural sea sponges by applying one or more accent colors over the base coat.
Smooshing:
A technique that produces a cracked marble type appearance
Suede Like Finish:
A ragging technique that produces a soft, suede like appearance.
Popcorn Ceiling Removal:
Instantly update the appearance of your home by removing the popcorn ceiling. In as short as a day, your home can be updated with a skip-trowel texture, creating a ceiling that is ready to paint for a brand new, modern look.
Replacing your popcorn ceiling can not only update and beautify your home, but it can also eliminate any hazardous materials found in the popcorn ceiling. If your home was constructed prior to 1975, the popcorn texture may contain asbestos and should be removed as a precaution.
